My role involved developing a new visual direction guideline for Wing Bank. The process began with a thorough analysis of the brand's objectives, target audience, and existing visual assets. Through close collaboration with the Wing Bank team, I gained a deep understanding of the brand's values, positioning, and aspirations. I conducted extensive research to identify current design trends and competitor analysis. 


Based on these insights, I crafted a comprehensive visual direction guideline that encompassed updated color palettes, typography styles, imagery guidelines, and overall design principles.



Challenge


The challenge in the design brief is to refresh Wing Bank's social media artworks and effectively leverage the new brand identity. This involves overcoming the potential hurdles of outdated visuals, inconsistent branding, and a need to align the social media presence with the updated brand image.

Solution


The solution lies in developing a comprehensive approach to refresh the visual direction of Wing Bank's social media artworks. This entails conducting a thorough brand audit to understand the new brand identity guidelines and key visual elements. By leveraging these elements, a cohesive and visually impactful design system can be created for the social media artworks, ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand's new image.

Approach


The approach to addressing this challenge involves close collaboration with the Wing Bank team to fully grasp the essence of the new brand identity. Through research and exploration, relevant visual styles, color palettes, typography, and imagery can be identified that best represent the refreshed brand direction. By implementing these elements consistently across social media artworks, a refreshed and engaging visual presence can be achieved. Regular evaluations and feedback loops will ensure that the design approach remains aligned with the brand's evolving requirements, allowing for continuous improvement and optimization of Wing Bank's social media visuals.

The Process


The process began with defining the brand voice as well as curated styles-cape and collected visual references to inspire and guide the development of the new visual direction. Explored various styles, color palettes, typography choices, and imagery options to create a visual language that resonated with the brand and its target audience. The output is a compiling of the refined design concepts, color palettes, typography guidelines, imagery guidelines, and overall design principles into a comprehensive visual direction guideline document.

Campaign KV Revamp


As the Art Director, my primary responsibility was to refresh and revamp Wing Bank's old key visual to align it with the new visual direction for their campaign, "You Save You Win," which highlighted the opportunity to win big prizes upon money deposit. The main objective was to uplift the overall look and feel of the visual to ensure it resonated with the digital trend, reflecting a modern and engaging aesthetic that would capture the attention of the target audience.
